Your First Wax, Start to Finish
Most of our clients had never been waxed before their first visit. Here is exactly how it goes, so nothing about it is a surprise.
A little prep, nothing major
- Let the hair grow to about a quarter inch, roughly two to three weeks. Long enough for the wax to grip.
- Exfoliate lightly the day before to lift the hair and loosen any ingrowns.
- Skip lotion or oil the day of, so the wax has a clean surface to work with.
- That is it. Show up as you are and your esthetician takes it from there.
Private, and fully in your control
- You are in a private room the entire time, door closed, one esthetician.
- She walks you through each area before starting, so you always know what is next.
- Our wax is custom-blended to be gentle on the skin and lifts quickly.
- Tell us your comfort level at any point. We work at the pace that suits you.
Smooth, with a simple routine
- A little redness is normal and settles within a few hours.
- Skip the gym, sauna, and direct sun for the first 24 hours.
- Exfoliate lightly after a few days to keep the skin clear and ingrown-free.
- Rebook around six weeks, when regrowth is finest and easiest to remove.
