Tinting FAQs
How does tinting work?
A professional color is applied to the hair, left to develop for a few minutes, and removed. It darkens the hair and covers gray. It does not color the skin.
How long does it last?
Up to four weeks, depending on the area and how quickly your hair grows and sheds.
Will it look obvious?
No. Your esthetician matches your natural shade. The goal is definition and fullness, not a noticeable dye job.
Do I need a patch test?
For a first tint, we recommend a quick patch test at least 24 to 48 hours beforehand to rule out sensitivity. Book it as a short first visit or ask when you schedule.
Does it work on all hair types?
It works on most hair types. Very light or fully white hair may take color differently, and your esthetician will set expectations during the consultation.
Are there side effects?
Tinting is low-risk when performed by a professional. Mild sensitivity is uncommon, and that is what the patch test is designed to check for.
Can I combine it with other services?
Yes. Many men add a brow or beard tint to a wax or facial during the same visit.
How much does it cost?
See the tinting areas above. All pricing is flat and tip-free.
